After months of preparation, our exhibition Dipl.-Ing. Arsitek: An Indonesian-German Architectural History was officially opened on 20 November 2024 in the presence of all our Indonesian curatorial partners.
After welcoming adresses by Sally Below, Moritz Henning, Eduard Kögel, Encounters with Southeast Asian Modernism, Berlin, Avianti Armand, Founder and Co-director of the Museum Arsitektur Indonesia, Eike Roswag-Klinge, Managing Director Institut für Architektur, Chair of the Natural Building Lab at Technische Universität Berlin, Sibylla Bendig, Federal Foreign Office, Head of Division Cultural and Societal Relations; Asia, Australia, Pacific, Latin America, Caribbean, Thomas Keil, International Relations, Senate Chancellery Berlin, and Dr. Roniyus Marjunus, Attaché for Education and Culture, Embassy of The Republic of Indonesia in Berlin, the exhibition was opened to the public.
